In April BCS joined more than 500 other companies across the country to pledge our support to put the pandemic behind us. We joined the “Rally for Recovery Commitment” launched by the US Chamber of Commerce, and we also pledged our support to the CareFirst BCBS campaign called “We’re Better Together,” which provided donations to regional organizations on the frontlines of vaccination education and distribution programs in communities that are underserved.
Both efforts pledged to support principals and actions that we at BCS have committed to throughout the pandemic:
- We will prioritize the health and safety or our employees and our communities as we fight the pandemic.
- We will listen and communicate openly, regularly, and with empathy to our employees, our stakeholders, and our customers.
- We will lead by example.
- We will reduce barriers to vaccinations by making it easier to get the COVID-19 vaccine, once available.
Last Friday, at the Founder’s Day picnic, BCS provided employees with t-shirts to showcase our support for these organizations and the principals we all stand for to end the pandemic. The shirts represent our UNITY and our commitment to the safety and health of one another and the communities we support. Go Team BCS!
